Swimmerly is an Austin-based organization dedicated to teaching young children the basics of swimming. We aim not only to increase water competency and drowning prevention among youth in an accessible, welcoming way — but to carry each child further still, from their very first time in the water all the way to competitive fundamentals!

Let's make a splash! 🎉Hi! My name is Hetvi Patel, and I started swimming in preschool and have been in love with the sport ever since. I've been part of Redfish since I was eight and joined Nitro when I started middle school. Swimmerly is a way for me to combine my passion for swimming and my love for spending time with kids, because the feeling of cutting through the water and the rush I get from diving in is something I want every child to feel. When I'm not blowing bubbles in the pool, I'm an avid reader, a sitcom binge-watcher, a flutist, and a mean bracelet maker. I always enjoy teaching my relatives and friends the basics of how to swim, and I can't wait to share my experience with others!
